Other HTML is my best friend. It all started out awhile ago when I made a personal site with Geocities which had a title with the word "Super" in it [I know, gag me please]. Soon that site became a Backstreet fan site called "Black & Blue 24/7" [which was months before that CD actually came out] and it was actually pretty popular. My design skills weren't all that great, I didn't write my own HTML, and I used a pagebuilder type thing with drag n' drop. I didn't even know the differece between .gifs and jpgs. heh. I had no idea how to do anything. Sooner or later I deleted everything with the intention of building it from the ground up. All during this time I worked on my friend Saras' computer [not having my own just yet]. I never got around to fixing it up. Call me lazy, I guess.

Somewhere in between I started my site about my friends called "Groupielicious".

Then somewhere in the middle of my freshman year one of these people I talked to about Backstreet had me read some of her Fan Fictions about them. She said I should try it. I never actually thought I could write [don't worry..this has something to do with my web design skills]. I thought my writing skills sucked. My parents used to say I would be an author like Stephen King because I used to read all kinds of books and I had a high reading level at a young age. So one night, after the fireworks for 4th of July, Megan, Sara, and I were walking home to Megans and this idea for a story popped into my head. It was a AU fic which is now deleted and long gone [though some people liked it]. I started out posting on Fan Fiction.net and then I wanted to make a site for my fictions. Well, since my first big story was called "Hidden", I named the site "Hidden Fictions". Since around this time I moved to my new house and finally got a computer..I started learning HTML and soon how to do actual layouts. So soon I wanted a banner free site. I was getting sick of those little Geocities banners everywhere. So I begged my mom to buy it for my 16th birthday. She finally gave in. I bought my first domain, notquitevivid.net, and then moved myself to aquilus-pardus.net. I got sick of the name and recently moved to milligram-smile.org.

I have a very good grasp on IFrames and many other bits and pieces. I'd have to say that I know how to do almost anything, though I'm a little wobbily with tables. I love my paint shop pro. I have photoshop..but, like Kristina, I think it's the devil. It's 5 times the amount of money as PSP and has almost all the same tools..only half of the tools are hidden or confusing to use. Maybe someday I'll actually take time to sit with it and learn some new things.

I've never taken any classes in school that deal with graphics or any kind of web-site design. Only because the only type of computer-related classed that my school offers are ones that deal with buisness programs. Like Excel, Word, and so on...and that's all about me.
